Stanley 66 Universal Hand Beader

The Stanley 66 Universal Hand Beader. This is a metal scratch stock with blades for reeding, beading, fluting, etc. The Blades are held almost vertically in the tool. The straight fence is shown but the 66 also originally came with a curved fence. A scratch beader, either this metal one or a shop made wooden one is a great way to make complex moulding in almost any wood and almost the only way to make mouldings by hand along a curved edge. It is also very easy to take a blade and grind your own profile for a custom moulding.
